Luxembourg, 21 November, 2025 – Nordea Asset Management (NAM) is pleased to announce the Government Pension Investment Fund of Japan (GPIF), one of the world’s largest institutional investors, has selected its BetaPlus Enhanced Global ex-Japan Equity Strategy for a portion of its global equity allocation.
GPIF oversees more than EUR 1.5 trillion in assets as of September 2025, taking a long-term investment perspective to secure the investment returns that it requires with minimal risk. GPIF’s investment in the BetaPlus strategy reflects NAM’s robust and repeatable investment process, excellent risk control and consistent alpha capabilities.
The BetaPlus Enhanced Global ex-Japan Equity Strategy is part of NAM’s BetaPlus Enhanced family. With low tracking error and consistent alpha generation, the solutions are an active alternative to passive investments, designed to deliver reliable excess returns with limited active risk.
